How can I book my flights?
Our small group tours do not include international flights. Why ? Well because our travelers all live in different places, and we want to offer you the possibility of leaving from Boston, Glasgow, Montreal or Timbuktu if you live in one of these cities. Because some want to extend their trip, stay a few more days or arrive a little earlier… When you sign up for a tour, ask us about the different possibilities, we will choose together the flight that offers the best value for money. You can also buy your flight yourself, of course. But we advise you to consult us before clicking, because flights purchased on the Internet have certain conditions which are not always compatible with our trips.
Who will be our guide?
Johann, creator of Komorebi and of all our itineraries, accompanies each trip. He is the one who will welcome you at the airport, and will be present throughout your trip to assist you and share his vision of the country. Do not hesitate to contact him to find out more about your itinerary. Depending on the program, local guides will share their knowledge or facilitate contact with locals.
How can I register to one of your trips?
You can fill out the pre-registration form online, or contact us by email, telephone or WhatsApp. We will send you a travel contract to be signed, as well as a registration form. Once your registration is confirmed, we will charge you a 40% deposit. The remainder of the payment is due one month before departure.
Do you offer insurance?
All our trips include repatriation assistance offered by the agency – for EU customers only. We can also offer you additional insurance, which will be mentioned on your travel contract. Most credit cards, especially premium cards such as Visa Premier or Mastercard Gold, offer travel insurance. Check with your credit card company to find out if you are sufficiently covered. And don’t forget that to benefit from credit card insurance, you must pay with the said card!
Can the itineraries be modified?
Johann, helped by his local partners, creates off-the-beaten-track itineraries specifically for Komorebi travelers, focused on meeting the locals and discovering local cultures. We engage with local partners, and make appointments with locals who trust us. These carefully designed itineraries cannot be modified. However, we can help you plan an pre or post-trip!
What if the trip doesn't reach the minimum number of participants?
All our trips are guaranteed from 6 participants. If you have registered and the trip has not reached this number one month before departure, we will have to cancel the trip. In this case, you will be fully refunded of all services reserved by us. Please note, if you purchased your flights yourself, we cannot guarantee any refund on them.
What happens after I registered?
After registration, Johann will contact you for a pre-departure briefing, with all the information you need to prepare for the trip. Depending on the country, this briefing may be held between 3 and 1 month before departure, and be collective with the other participants of the trip, or personalized. You will also receive a file with all the documents you will need. Of course, Johann will be available to answer all your questions!
Do we really meet all the people mentioned in the itinerary?
Absolutely! The purpose of our trips is meeting the locals. If we tell you that Fernando will tell you about the Chilean rodeo, it’s going to be him and no one else! And this is all the more true as all our partners are passionate people who love talking about their field. That said, as passionate as they are, they are always thinks you can’t avoid. A sick loved one, a bad flu, an obligation you didn't see coming... If it happens, we find the next best person to meet you. The experience will still be unforgettable!
How can I book my flights?
Not at all! Our clients are predominantly French-speaking, and therefore our trips are mainly guided in French... But some of you come from far away... we adapt, and our participants are delighted to meet fellow travelers of all origins. Our guides mostly speak English, ask us for other languages.
